SCOPE OF WORK
Monster Vac was contracted by Jefferson County for a large scale air handler restoration project. Over the course of 60 days Monster Vac had to clean and refurbish 31 large 30,000 CFM evaporative coolers located on the roofs of 8 different schools. Services included cleaning existing air handlers and repairing rusted and corroded drain pans. Evaporative cooler pumps, distribution tubes and pad assemblies were removed as well as the blowers which were 8 feet in diameter. The drain pans were then cleaned, treated with corrosion treatment and then coated with a waterproof coating. Where necessary Monster Vac Fabricated drain pans to replace pans that were damaged beyond repair.
